Come and join us as we celebrate the signing of the new Baltimore and Changwon Sister City Agreement. Changwon in South Korea is Baltimore’s newest sister city relationship!

Event features:

Performance by Changwon Municipal Dance Company Troupe (18 dancers). Roh Hyun Sik is the artistic director & choreographer for this company. He is known for his ability to create dynamic and modernistic performances while maintaining the philosophy of Korean dancing, and also his role in expanding the spectrum of Korean dancing.

Persimmon-themed tasting event. Changwon is the first place where persimmons were grown in Korea, and it is also the largest persimmon plantation in the country. Changwon is bringing products made of persimmons to Baltimore to introduce us to their the sweet taste.

Location: Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Brown Center, Falvey Hall, 1301 W Mt Royal Ave, Baltimore MD 21217
Time: Persimmon tasting event 5-6:30pm; Dance performance 6:30-7:30pm
Admission: Free
