Kawasaki Boy Scouts visit Baltimore in summer 2015

This summer, Crew 3776 of the Baltimore Area Council, Boy Scouts of America is hosting 6 scouts and 6 leaders from the Kawasaki District of the Scout Association of Japan.  This is an exchange program that has been in place between the sister cities of Baltimore and Kawasaki since 1985 (30 years ago). The exchange program is facilitated by the Baltimore-Kawasaki Sister City Committee.

The Scouts from Kawasaki arrive in Baltimore on July 24, 2015. On July 25, there is a Welcome Party and 30th Anniversary Celebration at the War Memorial in Baltimore.  The scouts are staying with families in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area and are spending a week at the Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation.  After camp, the visitors will spend time with their Host Families, make a day trip to New York City, and complete their visit by hosting a Sayonara Party for all those who made their visit special.  They return to Japan on August 6.
