The exhibit celebrates the 40th year anniversary of Baltimore and Kawasaki’s sister city relationship. This exhibit will open just before Baltimore’s ArtScape festival on July 2 and runs through August 23. It showcases 6 young Japanese, American, and Japanese-American artists, looking for commonalities in their immigrant identity and relocation themes that are part of their artistic heritage. The artists include several members of Baltimore Kawasaki Sister City Committee and other artists both local and national. We welcome you to visit this exhibit during ArtScape and delve into themes that are part of our Sister City fabric in Baltimore.
Organized by Baltimore Kawasaki Sister City Committee.
