Join us for the annual Hanami picnic hosted by the Baltimore-Kawasaki Sister City Committee!

Join us in celebrating the arrival of spring beneath a canopy of pink blossoms under the cherry blossom grove at historic Fort McHenry!

Bring your blanket, a picnic, and your cultural curiosity. Come to learn about this wonderful Japanese tradition of Hanami (spring-time flower viewing) underneath beautiful cherry blossoms. We will celebrate with food, kites, lawn games, outdoor painting, and J-pop music.

The event is free with RSVP ticket. Bring your own picnic.

You can park in the Fort McHenry parking lot and walk through the Visitor’s Center to reach the East Lawn Cherry Tree Grove.
