Maryland Sister States’ Legislative Reception is an annual event that brings an international flavor to Annapolis, Maryland’s capitol city — showcasing the relationships, food, culture, connections, and the impact of Maryland’s citizen diplomacy. The event is held during Maryland’s General Assembly’s annual legislative session; it increases awareness among legislators of the programs and activities of the Maryland Sister States, and the opportunities that they and their constituents have to participate.

Baltimore Sister Cities, Maryland Sister States, Sister Cities International, and Montgomery County Sister Cities have tables at this event. Stop by their tables to find out more about what they do and about their sister regions around the world! The program includes speakers like Maryland Secretary of State Susan C. Lee and others.

Organized by Maryland Sister States in partnership with the Maryland Secretary of State International Division.
